I've almost got a duece in the bag. Trying to get a transport kit together. What I need to know is, 1) what type of battery does it take and 2) where can I find one?

x2 6TL batteries. They can be had for a premium from Batteries plus.

you can use any two car batteries, top post . 6TL and 6TN are the proper shape and size. Then be sure you know the difference between series and parallel.

If you don't care about being OEM, just get two of the biggest batteries that Walmart sells. They work fine.

I got 6TL Batteries from Interstate Batteries directly. Think it was $135.00 Each plu core deposit. When using the 6TL Batteries, be sure to check the water levels frequently like your supposed to. Otherwise, premature failure and SOL about that. Cya!

DOH! That is a must though. You can use group 31 post type. WalMart, NAPA, K-Mart, etc sells them.
