My batteries on the 003 have been giving me problems so I am going to replace them. Right now it has Group 34 C's on it. Rural King has Group 31's on sale right now for $59.99. Looks like they should work fine? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

No need to post the same question multiple times, thats not allowed here.

You should be fine with them, as long as they fit.

Get two Optima Red Tops and a solar charger and be done with it.
I have had excellent results with all my Optimas

Don’t go cheap on battery’s.
Especially if it’s for emergency home power.
You do get what you pay for.

Running the generator once a week for an hour (+-) will keep everything happy.
