Thanks for the vote of confidence Danny. Wayfast, glad you got inspired.I always look forward to seeing your work.As usual--fantastic!I have recently gotten back into modeling and thank you for the inspiration.
Thanks Dave. Yes, it is 1/35 scale. There is a thread right here in this forum that shows most of my work: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/214158-post1.html & here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/713569-post1.html & here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/models-scale-replicas/59807-dug-deep-dio.html & here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/701687-post1.htmlWOW! Astounding detail! As a modeller in my younger days, I have always admired good attention to detail because I know how difficult it is to get authentic effects and the time it takes to make them just right. BTW; what scale are you working in here--- perhaps 1/35?
And if you won't mind me asking, where might we be able to see more of your work?
BRAVO~!
Well, I cannot say for sure. It all depends. But this little baby about 2-3 weeks of building. Here are the WIP : LAV III WIP pictures by tiking - PhotobucketIf that is a third place model, I can't IMAGINE what a first place model would look like.
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!
Any estimate on number of hours involved in a piece like this?
