I have a 1943 wood Ben Hur style 1 Ton..looking for an expert (drip under pressure). I've restored the body and it looks great.. Need to get a data plate for it but also looking for correct vin number/date of delivery. Where there any peculiarities associated with each manufacturer that I should look for that might help ID this one? Anyone have a Gertenslager trailer and did they make wood trailers? looking for some vins and date of delivery of some other trailers as I found a manufacturer who can make me the data plate, I just need to a VIN number correlated to deliver date..also looking for stake sides or stake side hardware...tks Dewey the Dirt Man..Kent, Wa

Is there any particular reason you posted this in the Steel Soldiers Rally section of the forum, rather than it's proper location.
