Anyone ever think of swapping the tanks for larger ones? I have several that are approx 9x29 with the end plug and guage. Would be a neat swap. I have 2 sets with gages plus a spare. I'd sell for 100$ plus shipping for a set thru DHL. They were gaseous oxygen tanks from a military C9B aircraft (they went to liquid oxygen systems). Anyone wants a set PM.

Is this a post about installing these tanks into your truck, or is this a misplaced ad? :?:
I think it's a little bit of a classified ad and a little bit of... "can it be done?" discussion.

It's a little bit of both. I would think they could be installed in the same position and the drains just drilled and tapped. They look to be at least 1/4 inch thick, so I don't think that would be a problem. They appear roughly, almost twice the capacity. Think it would be worth it to install a set?

Hey Cliff get behind the horn pucker your lips and blow real hard!!!!!!! :cookoo: Going from a bigger line to a smaller line will get some pressure change but for running air tools and equipment the best bet will probably a bigger compressor. Unless theres is a way to modify the stock one to put out more psi .
