In my internet wondering for bio-diesel and distributors I found a cool new website.

The site will search by state, city or zip to find distributors in your local area for the bio-diesel. The search gives distance from you, company name, address, phone number and the blends they offer. The site also has a road trip planner. You can map out your next road trip on there site and it will find all the bio-diesel stations and distributors along your route.

there is no advantage buying BIO from a station or commercially. it costs as much or MORE than regular diesel!!

isn't it funny how most any thing you to "for the environment" or "healthy" (vegitarian) is MORE expensive when you bring commercialism into the factor.$$$

I completely agree. The only reason I buy it commercially is that they sell it at 100% strength. (Not already mixed) This way I can fill up a few cans and mix it myself if I can't find a station that sells bio. It may be "as much or MORE" in the Pacific Northwest but here in TX Bio is .33 a gal cheaper than pump Diesel. We'll see how long that lasts because God knows my MV loves the stuff.

it would take ALLOT more than .33cent savings to make me switch to commercially produced bio..
Granted the commercial stuff is Very high quality and probably made to some standards.. or spec.

but that expense is not justified in my case anyway.

Biodiesel has better lubricating properties than ULSD #2; that alone is enough to make me switch...especially for my Dodge Cummins, where the IP is lubricated by the fuel. Now I don't have to buy a separate lubricant additive when running Biodiesel.
