Blackout Lights

In general, are blackout lights supposed to be mounted on the driver's or passenger's side? (Front and rear.)

Here is the light installed. It's my DD, and it is black, so I blacked-out the blackout light I got from Saturn Surplus. It's 12 volts.

It works just as it should. :)
