Blazer wont start???

I have a 83 CUCV blazer that ran fine a few days ago,Now it wont start??I replaced the batteries as well asthe starter solinoid and all it does is click when you turn the key.It does sound like the glow plugs are cycling but the starter does not turn.Any ideas??

Check all of your connections to be sure that they are all clean and tight, plus check grounds,battery terminals clean? maybe try jumping the soliniod and see if there might be a loose connection there. Hope you can find this info useful

If you just replaced the solinoid [which would have been my first guess with new batteries and all], it is possible you have a short in the starter motor itself. You could take off starter back plate and look for shorts, burnt or frayed wires or worn brushes, { dirty commutatior.... ypu could try to clean and would only be the problem if you have a oil or fuel leak over it.} if you see any if these, try another starter.

Did you replace the relay under the dash or the solenoid on the starter itself? Have you tested the starter?

check the relay under the dash its a silver metal relay cost about $20 here
