Hello,
I have an M38A1 with original paint. I want to do touch-ups in some rough areas, but it seems it's 2 different colors. It looks to be both the Vietnam and earlier OD color. It's sort of in it's own camo pattern. Any recommendations?

Bring a sample of each color you wish to match to Sherwin Williams and have them match it with the computer color match scanner. 1 quart of Superpaint in flat should get you going for both shades.

Incredible Jeep you have there, like 20 years of markings showing through.

Thanks. I'm actually right by where Army Jeeps Parts is located so I was planning just to buy the paint he sells. It used to be part of a fire department. Previous owner removed the red paint with oven cleaner. It's really neat to see all the different markings.

The problem with that approach is that the new paints will be just that, new. No fading. The computer match will match the existing fading.
