Bobbed HET?

Has anybody done this yet? Just a crazy Ideal I have had in the back of my head the last few days! If I could afford it I would like to get rid of the 5th wheel and just put a bed of some sort on it and call it a pickup truck.

When you got money you can do anything you want. I think they are real cool as they are (drove them in the Army) but I have to say that doing away with the two mid axles and having four wheel steering would be way cool. A custom flat bed and a set of 8 inch straight pipes to let that green Yamaha sing it's song would be badazz too.
