Sorry, I have searched the site and googled multiple terms to see if you can burn boiled linseed oil in a diesel. I got ahold of a few gallons and was wondering if anybody has thrown any in the fuel tank mixed with diesel?

The power of google...

"Boiled Linseed Oil: Linseed oil in which enough lead, manganese or cobalt salts have been incorporated to make the oil harden more rapidly when spread in thin coatings"

I would not do it Devin, it would be like pouring paint into your tank..

Actually, Varnish! And we all know how hard it is to remove evaporated or varnished fuel.

Thanks for the info, all I could find is that it could be mixed with diesel. I dont really have any other use for it so I guess I will give it back.

I used a sort of linseed oil for rust protection/inhibitor with very good results. You even can mix it into normal single component paint. It is also very good for sealing wooden surfaces (boats, fences, barns...).
I wouldn't give it away.
