Bought her at the Boyes Auction last Julyish... She made land 2 weeks or so ago... I had help on the import from John and Lar (olivedrab)... they were great.

BMP is the sports car of armor... believe me!

Yes, fully amphibious. This is a very rare variant... a command, control, and recon unit. Loaded with radios, hi-gain antenna, laser range finder, ground tracking, etc.

The BPzV was made to sneak ahead of the line, sit and find / report on enemy movements... think German forests etc.

Very cool!

How much of a pain is it to put a track back on if you throw one? How resistant are they to doing so? I had always heard the M113 referred to as the sports car of IFV/APCs....
