Bracket Question

There is a bracket on the passanger side floor board of my M1008. Can someone tell me what this is for, and the bracket in the center of the dash, is that a radio mount of some sort?

I have the same 24 inch or so x 3.5-4 inch wide bracket on the dash and wondered what it was for.

I also had the angle bracket on the passenger floor area and pulled it for the same reasons IE it was in the way of the passengers feet.

I saw a radio control or something of that nature in a pic on this board and saved it.

The pic on the left was from a M1010 notice the drivers bucket seat, the pic on the right is a pair of gauges and another type of control to the right of the gauges.

I also have plans to mount a military radio on this bracket just need to go buy the captive nuts for it and fab up a bracket.

I thought WE were the tester....

It's for mounting the various microphones and headgear for the original radios. I kept mine and mounted a Tuffy metal cupholder to it... I like it...

I ripped this off the internet somewhere for personal reference, so duly note it does not belong to me and I credit whoever owns it (maybe an SSer!)! It does give some idea how those brackets were used... I believe this is for an MP rig... Again, my apologies to whoever owns this...
