just so your not mislead, the "copper line" is really a 90-10 copper to nickel composite. i am not talking about pure copper. volvo has used this line on their vehicles since 1976 and still have the same brake lines today showing that there arent any problems with it

It's called "Kunifer" or "90-10 Copper-Nickel". It's used in lots of new cars of European manufacture. The the yield strength is good but lower and the expansion rate under pressure is good but higher than Bundy tubing.

I doubt that THIS is what anyone posting so far is talking about. It's not what I have been talking about anyway.

When I read that they wanted to use copper I also assumed 100% copper. If the poster indented to say something else- I didn't get it. All I ever see in the parts stores is the steel type.

brake tubing

Hi Guys , try these guys for your tubing needs ,(Inline Tubing) used one of their stainless kits on my 1008 , worked great , if you think you want to use copper just drive your truck into a wall at high speed and the end result will be the same , you or some one else will be dead, and no tech will ever pass a safety inspection on the vehicle because its against the law to use copper for brake tubing,
for the 1008 you need to use the dually kit ,
for the 1009 I would expect a stock Blazer kit
hope this helps
