BUDU 68 ABS Blues

Ever since I recovered my M923 from Minot, I've had a continuous ABS light. My Haldex code reader came in last week (first picture) and it gave me a BUDU 68 error. The Haldex Info Center manual said it was the dump solenoid on the blue channel error (second picture). That's great but the Haldex manual is not very good with methodical diagnosis so I went to the new 24 series TMs. It has an excellent section on diagnosing the BUDU 68 code. It confirmed it was a dump solenoid on the blue channel but has a nice procedure for working through a solution. So I followed the TM procedure by first measuring resistance across the three connectors on the solenoid (page 0172-3 of -23-2) and they were ok (third picture shows connector hanging and fourth picture shows three prong connectors on the dump solenoid) verifying the solenoid was functional. So I then measured the wiring harness at the ECU (pictures five and six) and it measured ok (page 0172-4 of TM). The TM said if the error was still present, to replace the ECU. When I was taking the wiring off the dump solenoid, I thought that is was pretty dang loose, but it was real clean inside the connector. Its a plastic twist on connector. I reconnected the ECU and dump solenoid (firmly), jumped in the cab and turned on the ignition. I could hear that the ABS solenoid sounded different - two distinct clicks with time in between - and knew there was a difference from before. The LED stayed on for 3 seconds and then went out! ABS fixed. Just a loose connection. Now for a field test on our gravel road.

The biggest issues are reaching the circuits high up under the belly of the truck and the dang shop dog wanting to lick my face when I'm on the creeper.
