Burning Dashlights and Brake Switch Fix.

Finally got my brakelights fixed today. Used a BWD S194 switch and a 3/8 to 1/8 adapter. Works great and less than $10 spent. So tonight I went out to see how the lights looked. I started the truck and let it run for a few minutes. By the time I got back in I could smell plastic burning and could see the dashlights melting. A month or so ago I was on here and someone recomended a differnt bulb # that was brighter. So i installed two of these.
Since i have misplaced the original bulbs i need to know their part #.

Thanks,
Will.

This is the dash light bulb info I posted. The brighter bulb has not caused me any problems yet, but will keep an eye on it.
I might add that the idea is to get the bulb filament more in line with the "windows" on the instruments. They are brighter and can be operated in the "dim" (=lower voltage) position and still be much brighter than the originals...

Not sure what bulb it was, but I had too hot of a bulb in and it melted the lens cover also. Took a good hour to happen.

Thanks for that info Bjorn. Since my pyro light is wired into my dash lights could it cause the bulbs to get super hot?
