So the main theme of the video is that the button fell off the hydraulic head. He apparently gave the clip some extra grip power and reused the button? Whats to keep it from falling off again? Seems like a huge vulnerability for a machine that needs to be super reliable.

Nothing but that clip. Hence they fall off or break periodically. You would think there would be a better way, but I guess as a potential wear item it’s easier than a new plunger rod, which would mean a new HH.
