New injectors made a huge difference.
Old injectors were original to the truck. About 97k on them.

Starts better
Much Quieter. Especially at 55
More power overall
Much better low end power
Silky Smooth idle now.

Will figure fuel mileage with next tank.

Very happy
Wish I replaced them when I bought the truck.

Tinstar, I am so glad you said that.
My M1009 has 95,000 on it and besides replacing the injection pump and glow plugs, I have yet to replace the fuel injectors.
However, I have a brand new set of Delphi injectors from that guy on Ebay claiming "ONLY US MADE!!".
Just waiting till I get data on the coolant upgrade mod.

I was gonna hold onto them but I think I'll swap them in as soon as I am done testing the Paradox kit.

Be sure you get the 30mm socket designed for the Bosch type injectors.
I bought a new Snap-On socket (1/2" Drive) and it worked perfectly. Cost me $25 on eBay.

Injector fit like a glove, even with the thread protector still on.

With a regular deep socket, you run the risk of damaging the return fuel tips since it tilts a lot inside the socket.

I did spray penetrating oil on the line nuts and injector bases a few days before I did the swap.
Got engine hot and then left truck alone til swap so the oil could do its job.

No issues at all!!

Yeppers, I bought that 30 mm deep well special fuel injector socket based on info I found here.
Got some PB blaster too.
Just need a day off to get some things done;
Finish testing Paradox kit.
Replace rear brake shoes.
Replace fuel injectors.
Remove and rebuild Transfer case.
Replace motor mounts.
Install Spartan locker in front differential.
Replace seals and front axle u-joints.

But those injectors are on the top of my list!

Just an update.

Truck is still running beautifully.
No issues or leaks.
Fuel mileage has improved along with the other benefits already noted.
So much quieter at 55.
Makes a fun Truck even more so when you can hear yourself think.

If your on the fence about a new set, they are well worth the money.

I was thinking about ordering a set of injectors because I definitely need them. Do they take the fine thread our course thread injectors mines an 85 if that matters I have held off of ordering because i dont want to get the wrong ones

Any gain in MPG's?
