Bypass oil filter with heater

Interesting feature about heating the oil in the filter to get rid of water among other things.

Do you suppose the filter should be mounted on some sort of gimbal? That way, if you are off road, you don't risk heating the oil with the vent blocked.

I believe they are built for marine use and should be okay.

Just called and talked with Maxilube Systems...base price is $2500.00 and it goes up to $6000.00...depending on the size of the engine.

the heated filter is this one, the PuraDyn. The seller there on that page is merely an integrator or dealer. Here is a pic. of the inside of it and some discussions.
