WILDCHILD467 is correct. However, with canvas cab tops, four works better. The additional bow...if evenly spaced across the cab...prevents the canvas from sagging above the doors, which would prevent water from pooling. I assume you probably have a vinyl top, though, since canvas tops are becoming more rare.

Yes that is right... the holes are on the top of the window frames and exactly same spot on the rear support bar..

I went to the local home improvement supply and bought 3 rods the same size as holes... forget dimensions... and about a foot longer than the distance and I bent them to form the shape required to keep top taught and prevent the pooling effect as stated above.. You can do it with 3! You may want to buy an extra one and practice with it. Once you have your first one the way you want just copy it as best you can and paint them flat black and they will be there awhile!!
