OK, just ran out to the tree and collected up the cable. Looks decent but is only a 6 footer. Yours if you can used it.

No, the CX-4722 is not the same as the cx-4723. Here is a quick guide to the functions of most of the cables used with the VRC-12
family of radios:

CG-1773 [RF] connects RT to antenna, Aux. Rec. to antenna or Aux. Rec. to Aux Rec.
CX-4720 [power] connects from the vehicle battery to MT-1029
CX-4721 [power] connects mount to mount (MT-1029 or MT-1898) to (MT-1029 or MT-1898)
CX-4722 [control] connects the radio to the antenna matching unit control jack
CX-4723 [control/audio] connects the various mounts (MT-1029, MT-1898, etc.) to various control units (C-2297, C-2298, etc.)
