Can any one help with a Fort Drum recovery?

I am in a bind now. I had a deal worked out with some one who lives close to this area, but it fell though. So now I have to get the truck home or at least stored some where until I get home from Iraq. Part of the deal included him getting it, getting it running, and storing it until I get home. In return he was going to use it. All I had to do was pay 75% of the final price of the truck only. Now, I have to pay all of it and transport fees. So, I was hoping some here might be able to help. Shoot me some prices and what ever information you may have.

I forgot to point something out. Getting the truck off base with in the time limts that GL has is the issue. Other than that, I do not care how long it takes to transport it. Especialy if that will make it cheaper. I was not prepared for a big transport bill. If the truck can sit until I get home, that would be even better.

Best case, GA. But I cannot afford that. Right now I was hoping to locate some one willing to store it for me until I can get something else worked out.

PM me the details. I'm 2-3 hours from Drum. I'll try to make it work out.

Since it doesn't look like it'll eat much hay, it could stay here until you can work something out to get it to GA.

The town Codes Enforcement Officer cuts me a lot of slack. He's a Viet Nam vet who has owned some MVs (although the bum sold his half track last year without letting me know!)

Storage is one issue. I would also be willing to work a deal with some one if they can get it running. This truck will be the beginning of the transport business I have always wanted to get going.

It's about a 1000 mile drive to the Atlanta area, from here.

You know, I thought about doing the same thing. There are too many problems here with people trying to use u-ship. Im currently trying to save up to get my cdl, and with people out the like BKubu and Dm22630 buying trucks left and right there might be a small market in it. Please keep me informed on how things work out. But as of right now, it just seems like a good time to buy a rig and trailer but not really 'start' a company.
