Can this be moved?

Can the breather hose mounted to the snorkel be moved somewhere else? It seems like most trucks I see don’t have the hose mounted like what is shown here on my truck.

'Cept it AINT shown "here". (Post a picture please.).
But anywayze...(generally), you can move Anything Anywhere, (that suits. (You)).

Depends on how high you want that hose to be. I have seen them on the back of the cab. I have seen them pushed up and into the cab. I have also seen breathers like that tube on the back of your intake tube pushed up and attached to the firewall (under the hood).

I can only guess, but somebody rigged your truck that way for a reason. Doesn't have to be that way if you want to change it like dmetalmiki suggested.

It is a vent for the fuel tanks. You can move it, but remember not to go to deep in water or you will get water in your fuel tanks. That was a upgrade in the M939 trucks.
