Not that I have a problem with buying a new one, but I seem to remember reading in one of the service manuals that its washable.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Looks like I’m buying a new one then because mine has been contaminated with tranny fluid from the vampire problemIf in good condition tap on it or blow it out, but no washing.
That doesn't work so well if it's soaked in oil.Beat it like a red headed step child, then blow it out and reset the restriction gauge. Not that they work
Make sure to check all the hubs and diffs for contamination.Looks like I’m buying a new one then because mine has been contaminated with tranny fluid from the vampire problem
Hummer H1 uses same filter and filter housingBtw, The truck uses a military specific air filter and housing not the hummer h1.
Blow it out from the inside out with compressed air, reversed vacuum won't do it. Not so hard as to tear the element. You will see when the fluid is gone. A red shen on it won't hurt. My 2 cents.Looks like I’m buying a new one then because mine has been contaminated with tranny fluid from the vampire problem
