Canvas wanted original not vinyl

Contact CUCVFAN (Neil). He has a new-in-the-crate canvas cargo cover kit with new bows for an M35A2 or M35A2C. I saw the canvas up close...it was beautiful and had that great canvas smell. I am not sure what he was asking.

The great canvas smell is DDT and not really healthy!
If you know a canvas maker arround (in German called Sattler), get the canvas made from new non vinyl stuff. These guys usually know where to get it, it's their profession. Else you have to live with 40 or more years old stuff. If unpropperly handeled, it is as bad as the stuff you probably own allready.
For the old stuff ventilation has the main pryority! if not vented, forget it!

I am not sure how many Neil had, although I thought he had more than one kit. I do know that his canvas was made recently and was fresh. I actually handled it myself and I can say that you will not be disappointed. This stuff looks to have been stored inside. I saw his listing, but maybe you can ask for more pics...again, assuming he has another kit available. The canvas is getting very rare...unless you want to ante up some serious coin for Beechwood or WeeBee products.
