I've seen several trucks where they have their cargo cover gear secured behind the cab some way but havent seen a good clear example. I know it should be in a manual somplace or maybe a home made rig. Who would sell these kits ? I need a better way to strore them on the truck when not in use.

I think it's the 361-10 that shows the bows stored under the bed at the front. Dropside trucks have the racks on the front rack of the troop sides. The parts can be installed on a non drop side. I'm in process of aquiring the parts now. WeeBee webbing has/can make the straps that secure the bows. I have the rack, just gotta swap parts and in a couple of weeks, i'm gonna go pull the supports for the bow storage from a drop side bed. I'll snap some pics when I do it. Just gotta find a place for the canvas!

Back when I had my deuce, I stored my cargo cover in a mil surplus duffel bag I had laying around. It held the top and the end curtains perfectly, especially if you rolled up the top the way it's described in the TM. Nice and compact, kept it all together, and had handles which makes things easier for moving it around.

Does anyone have a good picture of the straps that are under the dropside for securing the bows. Mine are shot / rotted away and I'm looking at having some made and need some specifics.

1. How wide is the strap
2. How long is each strap
3. What hardware is on each end, picture would help the manufacturer. (A picture is worth a thousand words)

Thanks
