Has anyone tried bolting a 1/2" stem caster directly to the 4 corners of the skids on a 831a?
I'd think with 4 or 5" wheels would allow it to roll on solid ground.

I have 3" casters on both of my 831A's. Picked them up at Harbor Fright.
They work very well for moving them about the garage & driveway.

I don't think any hard caster will go in dirt unless its pneumatic and 8" tall more like 10.
Here's a couple pictures of what I did works good on concrete if I go dirtI roll and on 3/4" hard plywood.
