CB in a 5 ton?

has anyone put a CB in their 5 ton. I sure someone has, but where’s the best place to put it? Somewhere you can get to it but looks like it goes there. Any pictures or information would be great.

Just hang it right under the dash.

To keep it protected( both from the elements and prying eyes) I'd say the map compartment. I have a hand held unit that uses a BNC connector for the antenna. I can use it to walk around with or attach a good antenna to the truck and swap over when I get in.

I just installed one in my Deuce, I would have put it in the map compartment but my cd player is in there.

i got one to put in mine but not paiting it as it is a cobrea harley d radio goin under the dash

i put a piece of 1 by six across the roof just above the doors. i got my stereo up there on the bottom and up top is storage for my tapes and cd's. can't here the cb at all when driving down the road. sprayed it all od , and looks like it belongs there.

Mount it on top of the air conditioner. Kendelrio can confirm that.
