Yes, they are easy to remove and replace with a different colored cover.

The color, I can get a tan one but need green.

I painted one several months ago was tan now camo used Lowe's valspar duramax paint has held up great so far

Did you brush or spray it?

Test paint one of the flappy corners and drive around with it unsecured for awhile. See how well it holds up to alot of movement. If it does ok, paint the rest.

I sprayed it with airless house painter setup
