Changing injector lines

I have a fuel leak at an injector line hydraulic head connection. I was wondering what if anything has to be done after removing these lines. Does the system have to be purged of air? If so what is the procedure?

Make sure there is no debris in the delivery valve and check closely for rust at the line/delivery valve seat area on the lines, pump and nozzle. If there is, green scotch brite will remove it with out damage, clean it out with a generous helping of brake cleaner. It should self purge the air out. TORQUE the lines!
