cheapest way to get an M38 from Canada to NC

So what is the cheapest way for me to get an M38 from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada to Waxhaw, NC, (a little town south of Charlotte) ? I've got a friend who has a resotrable M38, (a little rough but running), that he says he'll give me if I can figure out how to get it to NC. I'd love to take him up on his offer.
