I know Bjorn, I wouldn't wager ANY money on him being craneless for any length of time. He's probably got something in the works. Next year is the year. We are going to dispatch a small detatchement to Meadows of Dan and forcibly escort Mr Cranetruck to the GA Rally. I suggest planning accrodingly.

Might be a M915 and trailer. Can't bring Bjorn to the GA rally and leave the XM757 at home alone!;)

I have a legal question.

Would it be "kidnapping" if the victim is over...er...50 and knows it's gonna happen a year in advance?

Anyone who may be somewhat new to the site and doesn't recognize the magnitude of this should search Bjorn's posts. He is one of the premier imformation lenders to this site and his adaptation of parts and inquisitive nature mixed with attention to detail has led to the construction of a truck that anyone would be proud to have in their stable. I hope he gets every penny he asks, the truck is worth full price...where ever he puts it.

Thanks Tom, although some of the projects have long since been removed.

I was wondering how long it would take to explain what each gauge did, to the new owner. How big of a manual would you have to write for all the "upgrades"!

Guys, there is no single thread for the cranetruck, I almost always start a new one when a subject comes up, here is a typical upon the arrival in Eureka, Nevada;http://www.steelsoldiers.com/military-vehicle-road-trips/6674-3-2-1-eureka.html#post57448

Gimp, most of the instrumentation that was installed was experimental, such as fuel viscosity, oil filter differential pressure, fuel temp, intake manifold temp, air filter vacuum, crankcase pressure, fording pressurization pressure, inclinometer and more.
Boost pressure, EGT, brake fluid pressure, exhaust brake back pressure gauges remain. Other features that stay are crankcase breather filter, pressurized axle housings plumbing, alcohol vaporizer, coolant filter, back-up light/alarm, flood/work lights, running lights (sides and above the cab), bikini top.
The veggie oil/biodiesel valves and controls are gone. The clock is gone. The VIC-1 is gone. The CB is gone. The antenna is gone.

Each one of the items listed above should still have its own thread on this site, but I will be listing the features with pictures when the truck is ready to sell.
Some 20 articles in the MVM are based on this truck.

Thank you

I want to pass along a very heartfelt thank you to Bjorn for selling me the cranetruck. It will be used weekly on the farm.
