After replacing my transmission and getting the proper free travel adjusted on the clutch pedal I noticed that it wont pop back up from the free travel portion of its movement. Once you get down to actually operating the clutch it comes back to the point where the free travel starts it just stops. If you lift it up with your foot and it'll stay where you leave it.
I'm thinking the problem might be with the spring straight back from where the pedal's linkage connects to the clutch release shaft, it seems like it might be weak. Does this sound right, or did I do something wrong? Where can I get one of these springs?
