I have a 806B Generator .The engine starts and runs but will not switch over to power. First time this has happened Could low voltage to CMOS causing this.
I have pulled back cover off computer and the round black area is covered with silicone. How does that come apart?

Yes, that could be the reason it puts out no voltage. Look up SS member listed below. Ask him about the disassembly of the CIM.

Guyfang can you help Generator runs but will not switch over to generator light on back wall refers to cmos voltage low I have looked into computer and I do not see any batterie pompartment
