I'm puttine a 251 engine in my M37. Does anyone have a picture of the front engine mount used in the Canadian M37 variation? I need to fabricate a mount and would like to use the pic as a guide. Thanks, DW

I have an 51 M37 and a 54 M37CDN I took a look at both. In the picture is the 51 front mount. (about 6 years ago) The front mount for the 54 is moved forward to the flat spot just ahead of the mounting tabs the 51 uses. There is nothing extra to mount to. The radiator is also moved forward.

I found another shot of the front mount. You could see just under the pulley where the front mount is bolted, that is a bracket from the factory. The Canadian being longer they used the frame to mount to. If you look at the bracket and move forward you'll see a flat area on each side, That's where the 251 mounted to. hope this helps and if someone has a better picture that would help.

There's a weld nut inside the cross member. I'll post a pic when I get home this afternoon. You can take a hole saw and drill the bottom of the cross member for access to install the lock washer and nut.
