Thought I'd share some pictures of the CFFC Fall Color Tour that we were part of last week. We left from PA on Thursday and trailered the M38 1,800 miles to Nathrop, CO. The event started on Sunday and we had guided tours Monday - Friday. The weather was very nice and we had an excellent time. There were around 62 flat fender jeeps and approximatley 130 people that attended. I worked on the jeep for about 3 months to prep for this event. Putting a wrench on every single bolt, adding missing vent lines, complete rebuild of the transmission, fuel / vacuum pump and carburator. Fixing some minor wiring issues and a few misc items. We had the jeep at just over 12,000 feet. I advanced the timing some when we arrived and the jeep performed very well. A few people had issues with vapor lock, oveheating and one guy broke the casing on his rear diff. All of the jeeps were low on horespower due to the elevation.

Did you run into Rick Pewe there? He has done that run for many years and is one of the foremost authorities on flattie four wheeling.
