MAKE SURE YOU TRY THAT DURING LOVEBUG SEASON!

Been there, done that. With the window out to the first detent, most of your bug stuff blows right by. Open it one more click and you need goggles. As jake said, you can alter how much pressure builds in the cab by raising and lowering the drivers window. It really works in just about every situations except rain. In my opinion, the only real screw up by the original engineers was not putting wipers on the inside of the windshield too.

Those of you worried about bugs/water/etc coming in the windshield on you, just open the passenger side windshield.

I wish I knew about those darn things when I went down there in September of 05, I don't know how many times I had to clean the windshield in a trip.
