I have been reading about the 97 6.5 cooling system upgrade and wieghing the options and the benefits ect..
I happen to notice in my travels that some ppl in their race engines install cross over hose at the front and rear of the engine.. my question would 6.2 6.5 benefit from this sort of mod? Considering there is uneven heating from one side to the other.

Probably not cause the 6.5 has different ports in the head... I would suggest putting a Y fitting in the locations if you want to try it... Who knows.... It might work, it may not. You won't lose anything to try it. If you put a cooler in the middle of it, the the least you benifit from would be lower temperatures in the cooling system.
