Correct Power Steering Pump?

It is, but man that's a heavy price. Check your local auto parts place. Pretty sure it's just a standard GM PS pump.

Also consider it could be the steering box or fluid levels.
Thanks for the reply! Fluid level is fine. I was told to check the pump with the engine on to make sure the fluid is "swirling."

I don't know how to check the steering box, but that sounds like a booger to fix if that's the issue.

A bit more expensive to R&R outright, but repair parts are easily available. Its a standard Saginaw box. Only a pressure test will tell if its the pump.
