Cost for a 1078 Bed?

Hey what's up all. So I'm currently removing the bed of my 1078 in preparation for an RV build and i have parties interested in buying it (thankfully) but i have ZERO clue what i should be asking. Eastern Surplus sells beds as well, but every single listing is "call for price".
Pictures are kinda unecesary as if you've seen one you've seen them all. No major dents or anything like that.
1) The bed itself.
2) All seats.
3) All (folding/removing) sides
4) Hoops for the Canvas cover.
The only thing not included is the canvas itself.

What does the community think i should be asking?

Thanks in advance!

That’s a tough question, you can buy a S&S trailer for 1-2 grand. So my guess if you wanted to get rid of it maybe $500 if you wanted to get rich and wait a long time maybe someone would be willing to pay$2,000.

There's a glut of them available from overland builds and they are tremendously heavy, awkward, and expensive to transport so the reality is that you will be lucky to find someone that will take it off your hands and accept the scrap value for their effort. Scrap steel isn't all that valuable so you'll be lucky IMO to not get charged for removal.

I think I'm just going to chop the fifth wheel plate and kingpin thing off of the trailer frame that my habitat is on, and weld it to that bed together with some other bracketry so that it can be mounted on a semi!

Turn it into one of those XM1082 trailers. Those are basically the back end of the truck anyway.

Perhaps I should go Sean Filner on it. Put a couple of torsion axles under it and have it be a much lower trailer

Yeah it's a nice 12' length. Lower to the ground would be more practical than a 1082 and it's a robust enough frame, more than most 10k trailers. 2 or 3 torsion axles could be nice. Then it be worth some money and sellable locally. Those things are always in demand
