Im in the process of flipping hubs, brake rebuild ect on my deuce, one of the rear hubs has four cracks about 1'' back from flange face ,all cracks are over the bolt holes that connect axle to hub, each crack is 3/8 to 1/2 in long,no bolt holes are stripped, only thing that makes since is the bolts were tightened way too tight at some point, with hubs flipped that side will go to brake drum. Would you all proceed or look for another hub?

let me think..... a 14K pound truck with cracks in the hub.... I would want to replace it. Having that said I don't think the cracks would have weakened anything but I still would not feel that great about it. I would get a good used one.
