It has been a long time coming but I got it done:-D The PK19000 has a hitch with a pintle eye, and it pulls like a dream. The ten wheeler that pulled it to my storage went to far and had to off road a little. The trailer has remarkable off road articulation and drives true and strait on the highway as well. My next job on the punch list is to mount its own power source, hydraulic pump and hydraulic tank. I'm still scratching my head on that job so if any of you SS's have hydraulic input please advice. Thanks Mark

Hitch looks beefy. As far as the hydraulics go, get a little diesel motor/pump that fits the range you need to move the crane, put a battery for starting it and run a line from the trailer electric harness to keep it charged up.

What are you gonna pull it with?

If you're feeling up to it, you could swap out those axles with some regular trailer axles from a good van trailer with the proper weight rating. You'd probably save a few pounds, gain a little ground clearance and I'd be willing to bet you could resell those driven axles and make enough profit to buy a nice generator and hydraulic pump setup. The decreased rolling resistance wouldn't hurt, either. :-D

The bed is sweetly built (16'by7.5') but the bed deck is quarter inch thick steel, a little long but easily fabbed down to deuce size. It has very nice 8' drop sides with nice fold down troop seats. The crane would be a great addition to a deuce, but better suited for a 5ton or ? I would guess it weighs in at 6 to 7,000 lbs. Oh and did I mention its for sale:razz: and would pull very nicely behind a truck with Pintle set up!!

It might look to good behind that M818 with the 52's, what kind of tire are those? The Crane Trailer has Goodyear 52's still have nipples on them. PM sent. Thanks Mark
