Another no start post !
M1008, cranks well but won't start.
Recent lift pump, glow plugs. Have got fuel at filter, but only small amount at injectors.
Friend on here had same problem & had his injector pump rebuilt. Guessing I've got the same problem.
Best way to check this before I take it off ?

Do you have the original box fuel filter?

Driven about 5 miles daily, fuel is getting through filter, will change it anyway
I did some poking around the web and came across a possible problem area. There should be approximately 43+/- a pound or two PSI at the fuel rail. Also changing out the fuel pressure switch could be a culprit. My personal method of fixing is to find the least expensive issue and work from there.

Done the glow plug card bypass tonight, got power at glow plugs, still nothing. ( will pull some tomorrow, make sure they're getting hot )
On the GP solenoid, the blue wire is live, but the bypass puts negative to it, is this right?
Got fuel through filter, only very small amount at injectors.
Trying to look at everything before I pull the injector pump. ( can get it rebuilt local to me, a friend had similar problems)
In the UK

On the injector pump, take off the top cap and turn the motor over...fuel should overflow. If not the injector pump is probably gummed up or the fuel line at the back of the pump is clogged. Maybe try removing the line on the back of the pump before the pump change. You might get lucky.

My bet is you need a Injector pump.

I'm leaning on bad GP's, very little fuel comes out of the injectors. get the truck inside and warm, check those GP's and go from there.
Replaced 4 glow plugs with good ones from last time I changed them about 18 months ago AC delco 60g.
Will order some & replace the whole set.
