For the adapters that have the 1/2" drive socket offset from the hex socket end, how do you calculate your actual applied torque? The added leverage of the offset will give a higher torque on the fastener than your wrench is showing. The adapters that have the 1/2" drive socket directly above the hex socket end via means of the multiple offsets give a 1 to 1 reading as one wants to be accurate. Pictured is a military surplus wrench I have which gives accurate direct reading.
