They do make good daily drivers except when it gets really hot. We are buying a house in High Springs, Fl - about 15 minutes north of Gainesville, adn we are going to keep this place in Alabama as well since the houseing market is so bad for sellers now, so both places are HOT in the summer, and a daily commute in the middle of summer without AC gets old fast.

Hey guys, I just got my 2nd M1008, from the same NG armory. I have noticed that the Camo paint on both trucks are a matched set! I never thought that the military actually use some kind of Pattern on these vehicles. Like someone said, "I learn something new every day on SS">

I learned this just a few days ago myself. After a little digging around, I found the camo specs sheets online.

Drive a m1009 on a regular basis 120 miles roundtrip. Around 20 mpg on B100. No problems, just quirks that you have to get used to
