Does anyone have a source for the four plastic clips that hold the grille trim on? I haven't been able to find them. I found everything else.

Thank you

I know exactly what you are talking about. The early 1984 models had this style plastic clip. I convert to the 1985 and never outer headlamp trim moulding tinnerman nut style. But I have used a wedge clip in the past. the plastic ones were available from GM at one time of course they have long since been discontinued. It is the same plastic clip they used on several mouldings of the GM line back then. Good Luck. Getting the 4 stud moulding clips tight also works and keeps the outer trim tight.

Check out this company. auveco.com
There are several clips that would work on that application. I may have a few originals but it may take me light years to locate them. I would use something like the top one I listed. It just needs to cam on the stud and hold the moulding tight. Never see it after the headlamp bezel is installed. Either that or use the tried and true 1985 outer mouldings with the speed nuts on tinnerman nuts on them.

Here's a GM PDF file. Maybe. Happy Holidays and Good Luck.
