CUCV M1009 Fuel sending unit question

Hey guys, I've been trying to find a fuel sending unit for my '85 M1009. I have found many 6.2L units for 25-27 gal. (pn FG12A) ranging in price, but all are 3 port and not 4. Any help would very much appreciated.

Three port should work fine. One of the cucv pick ups was for a fuel fired heater. It does not go to the bottom of the tank.

Would you by chance know where to find a diagram of the fuel system so I know which one I don't need?

The TM's have all the info there. I would suggest the -20p or -34p as they have the parts diagrams in them. There are in the TM section of this site.

I got the one from LMC for the 6.2. Fit perfect. Be aware that you will probably break the fuel tank straps when you go to lower the tank. I also had most of the pintle hook bolts break or be so corroded I didn't want to put them back on. I would suggest ordering a pair of tank straps when you get the sender unit.
