Anyone have access to the CUCV2 manuals?

The GM site only has the LSSV (2001-2006) manuals listed. LOGSA doesn't even have any of the original CUCV manuals listed. Just a couple of Radio manuals.

Mainly looking for parts listings.

Thanks

I bought mine from a private seller.

Were do I find the data plate? Haven't really looked for it though.

But I'll take a look, and perhaps I can find some infos.

Unfortunately there were no military documents left, when I bought it.

Just the user manual and the Diesel supplement manual.

I have them on digits in the EMS NG program, as well as in IETM, I will get a cd and burn them for you.
Are manuals for the CUCV II or just CUCV.

I have EM 0070, UTILITY VEHICLES, CUCV . Current as of 1-FEB-2008 on CD-ROM. it is only for the CUCV not CUCV II.

If you do have anything for the CUCV II, please PM me.

Thanks

Anyone every find the CUCV2 manuals?

I found and obscure reference that list the trucks as XM-1008 and XM-1009s.

Doing a google search I found some lists at www.wbparts.com

VEHICLE TRUCKS AND TRACTORS PARTS | Buy Online M932, M923, M925, XM-1008, XM-1008, XM-1009, MIL-T-62110C, 1854, 16, M936, ACVCMA1173, MA1173, ACVCMA1207, MA1207, CAMEL 200, E150-CV, E150-CV, ACVCMA1261, MA1261, G.E.-47D256752, K-10516, K-10516, DD72,

They list the NSN as:

2320-01-115-9067 - pickup
2320-01-115-9068 - blazer
2310-01-462-2654 - suburban

Tpub show these entries:

http://trucks.tpub.com/01-115-9067.htm - pickup
http://trucks.tpub.com/01-115-9068.htm - blazer

(Yes I know the last post is from 2013)

EM 0070 appears to cover CUCVs. I am procuring a copy to determine if it does. However, it does have a distribution code of B:

Distribution Statement B

Distribution is limited to US Government agencies only; other requests shall be referred to the controlling DOD office.

Reasons for selection of Distribution B:

  • Foreign Government Information - limits distribution according
to the desires of the foreign government that furnished the technical
    information.
  • Proprietary Information - protects information not owned by the
US Govt and protected by a contractor's "limited rights" statement, or
received with the understanding that it not be routinely transmitted
    outside the US Government.
  • Test and Evaluation - protects results of test and evaluation of
commercial products or military hardware when such disclosure may cause
unfair advantage or disadvantage to the manufacturer of the product.
  • Contractor Performance Evaluation - protects information in
management reviews, records of contract performance evaluation, or other
advisory documents evaluating programs of contractors.
  • Critical Technology - protects information and technical data
the advanced current technology or describes new technology in an area
of significant, or potentially significant military application, or that
relate to a specific military deficiency of a potential adversary.
  • Premature Dissemination - protects information on systems or
hardware in the developmental or conceptual stage to prevent premature
disclosure that might jeopardize the inventor's right to obtain a
    patent.
  • Software Documentation - protects software documentation and data releasable only under specific regulations.
  • Administrative or Operational Use - protects technical or
operational data or information from automatic dissemination under the
International Exchange Program (IEP) or by other means. This protection
covers publications required solely for official use or strictly for
    administrative or operational purposes.
  • Specific Authority - protects information not specifically
included in the above reasons, but which requires protection according
to valid documented authority such as Executive Orders (EOs),
    classification guidelines, or regulatory documents.

Garry,

The document plainly states:

No part of this manual may be reproduced, stored in any retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means (including but not limited to electronic, mechanical, photocopying, and recording) without the prior written permission of General Motors Corporation. This applies to all text, illustrations and tables.

Have you done that? I will remove the manual, until I hear from you.
