Ouch ! That brings back bad memories. The good thing is the Cummins is so rugged that the rest of the engine is probably just fine. The bad thing is that the heads, piston and liners are hard to find. I later ended up buying a second M818 just for parts in case it happened again - unfortunately, the second truck is too nice to rob for parts, so I'm still on the lookout for a take-out engine that costs less than a whole 5-ton truck from GL.
