Cummins QSB6.7

Anyone in here ever fit a Cummins QSB6.7 in their m998? I am eyeing a few for sale and wanted to get some opinions on it, if anyone has converted to a QSB. Thanks

It might be difficult:

The 6.2/6.5 is 30" long, the Cummins is 41.7", the width is 26" vs 28.6" and the height is 26" vs 37.8". From a dimension perspective it isn't going to fit. Next is the weight, the V8 is 750lbs versus the 1150lbs of the Cummins which is a serious uptick in weight.

Bad news all round, but you could consider the 4BT. The height is still an issue, but may not be insurmountable.

Is there any thread on this? I'm going to be doing a 12v sometime in the future and he probably has some good advice.

Just FYI, Chris no longer has the HMMWV.
